Shipping Terms & Conditions
YellowBee strive to help our customers to save on the shipping cost. At present, we offer shipping via Canada Post and Canpar. All our products will be shipped from Calgary, AB. Please note that all carriers do not pick up and process parcels on weekends and holidays. Delivery Days (The shipping days starts counting AFTER order is picked up by the courier, typically 1-3 business days after order placed. All orders are processed according to the ordering sequence). YellowBee will not be liable for any delayed delivery/shipment.
Perfumers Alcohol can only be shipped within Canada on ground by Canpar. If you choose other carrier, your order will not be shipped until you paid the difference in shipping.
Signature Requirement
By default, orders with a subtotal under $200 (product cost before tax) are shipped without a signature requirement. The courier will leave the parcel at the delivery address without anybody signing for it. In some cases, the courier may deliver the parcel to their designated pickup location for collection. If you would like to add Signature Required service for orders below this threshold, please contact us prior to shipment. Additional charges will apply.
For orders with a subtotal over $200, Signature Required service will automatically be included to help ensure secure delivery. If you prefer to waive this requirement, please inform us in advance. Please note that if the signature requirement is NOT waived, the courier may redirect the parcel to a depot or designated pickup location if no one is available to receive the delivery. If the parcel is not collected within the carrier’s holding period, it will be returned to the sender. The customer will be responsible for both outbound and return shipping costs, as well as any applicable restocking fees if the order is cancelled.
Insurance & Liability
Basic insurance coverage varies depending on the shipping carrier. If additional insurance is not requested, the maximum claim amount for loss or damage will be limited to the coverage provided by the carrier (if any). The customer is responsible for any uninsured portion of the loss.
Please note:
- Canada Post Regular Parcel service does not include insurance coverage.
- In many cases, the standard carrier liability limit is CAD $100, regardless of the order’s actual value.
- We strongly recommend purchasing additional insurance for high-value orders to protect against loss or damage during transit.
If you would like your order to be insured beyond the basic coverage provided by the carrier, additional shipping insurance must be requested and paid for at the time of ordering.
Please also note that all carriers do not provide insurance coverage for breakage, loss, or theft for parcels containing glass or liquid products, according to their policy.
In the event of missing or undelivered parcels, we will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf where applicable; however, we do not automatically re-ship replacement orders.
Delivered Parcels
Once a parcel has been marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, including incidents involving porch theft.
A tracking number (if available) will be emailed to you once the package has shipped. Customers are responsible for monitoring the tracking information and contacting the courier directly for delivery-related issues.
Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on the rates provided by the shipping carrier. In rare situations where the shipping cost is incorrectly calculated, we reserve the right to adjust the shipping charge to reflect the actual carrier cost. If this occurs, we will contact you to arrange payment for the remaining balance before shipment.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order. Customers are also responsible to provide the buzzer number in the address field to access to the building, if this is needed.
If a parcel is returned to us due to reasons such as “Returned”, “Unclaimed”, or “Invalid Address”, the order will be refunded less a 20% restocking fee and all shipping charges, including any additional return shipping fees charged by the carrier.
If the carrier imposes an address correction fee due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer will be responsible for this charge.
Order Cancellation
If an order is cancelled after processing has begun, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
Courier Selection
We reserve the right to use an alternative courier with similar or better service and delivery timeframe when necessary.
USA Shipping Policy (TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED)
Please note that all shipments to the United States are subject to approval by U.S. Customs and may be declined without prior notice or explanation. In the event that a parcel is returned to us by U.S. Customs, we will issue a refund only for the value of the products purchased. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Additionally, orders shipped to the U.S. may be subject to duties, taxes, or tariffs imposed by U.S. Customs. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. If the recipient refuses to pay these fees, the parcel may be destroyed by U.S. Customs upon our instruction, and no refund of any kind will be issued. Should the carrier elect to return the parcel to the sender and invoice us for any associated return shipping and re-importation fees, we reserve the right to forward such charges to the recipient for reimbursement. The products restocking fee will also apply.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
Self-Pick-Up Option
Customers can complete the order online, pre-pay via eTransfer and do a self-pick-up from us. Please contact us after you have placed the order so that we can make arrangement for your pick-up. Please wait until you get the notification email before arriving at our store. If you arrive before receiving the notification and wanted to pick up the order immediately, we will impose $20.00 expedited fee to get your order(s) ready.
Customer selecting this option needs to pick up the items within 7 days after the order is ready. Please contact us if you cannot make it on time. If we do not hear from you after 7 days, we reserve the rights to cancel the order and treat the order as regular return, with 20% restocking fee.
Please note that we do not provide boxes, bubble wrap or packaging material for self-pick-up orders.

Providing Your Own Shipping Label
Customers may choose to use their own shipping labels by informing us ahead and selecting the Self Pickup option at checkout. Upon request, we will provide the necessary box dimensions and weight details once your order is prepared.
However, we strongly recommend using YellowBee’s shipping options to ensure a smoother, safer, and more reliable delivery experience.
Please note: For orders containing glass or other fragile items, we only permit palletized (skid) shipping via truck freight. Courier services will not be accepted for these items due to the high risk of damage. Fragile items require special handling, and third-party couriers often lack the necessary safeguards, increasing the likelihood of damage and disputes over responsibility.
If any damage or loss occurs during transit arranged through your own courier, the customer will be fully responsible for managing all communication and claims with the chosen courier service. YellowBee will not be held liable for any issues arising from self-managed shipping.
To minimize risk and streamline support, we encourage all customers to select one of YellowBee’s in-house shipping options, which are backed by our trusted carrier network and comprehensive support.
International Shipping
We are only shipping to Canada, USA and certain countries outside of Canada at this moment. Please contact us for more details.
Backorder
In some cases, we may run out of stock at the time of packaging. If this happens and you’ve purchased a backordered item, we will issue a refund of the product that is unavailable.

Any customers changing their mind or for any reasons requested an order to be cancelled and refunded before it is processed (start packing) will incur a 3% cancellation fee, if the order is paid with credit cards or through PayPal. This fee is for PayPal and the credit card processing company. Customer can still opt to have the paid amount converted into store credit, without any cancellation fee.

Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations, including but not limited to processing, shipping, or delivering orders, where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, fire, flood, severe weather, pandemics, acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes or strikes (including postal and courier services), supply chain disruptions, governmental actions or restrictions, power outages, transportation delays, or failures of third-party carriers.
In such events, our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the delay, and we will make reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as soon as possible. Customers acknowledge that delays or non-performance arising from these events do not entitle them to claim damages, refunds, or any form of compensation.
Sampling Orders for Packaging
We reserve the right to reject orders that have more than 20 packaging products. Please contact us before ordering.
Consequential Loss
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses or damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or any other economic loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall be limited to the amount paid for the product in question.
