When working with aldehydes in a fragrance composition, evaluating the blend immediately can be misleading. Aldehydes require time to macerate in alcohol before their full character and balance properly emerge. For this reason, we strongly recommend assessing the fragrance only after it has rested in alcohol for at least a week, rather than evaluating it directly as the undiluted concentrate.
