Ultramarine blue is a beautiful true, bright blue pigment obtained by calcining a mixture of kaolin, sulfur, sodium carbonate, and carbon at temperatures above 700 °C. It can vary in shade slightly with the addition of certain ingredients at the manufacturing stage. It not only makes the most vibrant blue eyeshadows, it is invaluable for those with cool undertones and used in small amounts would adjust hues in foundations, blushers, bronzers and lipsticks.

Stable and non-bleeding when used in soap.
